  • Reason for Being Hated: Holly’s particularly controversial because she replaced a fan-favourite male character who had been killed off years before, so fans had the idea that Hawk should only be a man due to the war and chaos themes. In other reasons, she was portrayed inconsistently writer by writer, spoke in cliche Britishisms that annoyed Brit comic fans, was too aggressive, too promiscuous, and a ‘big-breasted skank’. Her gruesome death scene was cheered on by fanboys.
